Kourtney Southworth, LCSW- School Social Worker
District 95 Mental Health Lead
Carolyn Wenz Elementary
Kourtney Southworth been working as a school social worker for 5 years now. Previously, she worked as a school-based therapist for a community mental health organization and gained a lot of mental health knowledge during her time there working with children and families. In 2018, she received her credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kourtney enjoys spending time with her husband and kids as well as reading when she gets the time!

Staci Garzolini-Skelton- Counselor
Paris High School
Staci completed her Master’s in School Counseling at Indiana State University and began her career at Paris High School in 2007. In addition to academic advising, she prioritizes meeting the mental health needs of her students. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and volunteer within the community.

Abigail Bush, LPC- School Counselor
Mayo Middle School
Abigail Bush is in her first year as a school counselor. She graduated with her Masters of Science in counseling from Eastern Illinois University in May 2022. She is dual-licensed as a school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). One of her favorite pastimes is reading books on her porch while drinking coffee in the morning.

Summer Brinkley- School Social Worker
Memorial Elementary
Summer Brinkley is the school social worker at Memorial. This is her first year as a social worker, and she is loving her job. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology at Eastern Illinois and her graduate degree in social work has taken place at Walden University. Along with her schooling, district 95 has helped her obtain many different certifications such as CPR, Mental Health First Aid, and many others. A fun fact about Mrs. Brinkley: She knows how to juggle!

Faith Milam- Prevention Counselor
Paris-Union District 95
Faith Milam is the district prevention counselor. Her office is at the Paris
Alternative Learning Site (PALS) where she services students there. Faith is also over the school's safety initiatives, and she teaches monthly social emotional lessons in classrooms at Memorial, Wenz, and Mayo. Before she began working for district 95, she did private practice counseling and worked as a sexual abuse counselor at a local nonprofit. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University for both her Bachelors and Masters degrees. She enjoys traveling with her husband in her free time.

Amanda Martin- Mental Health Specialist
Memorial Elementary
Amanda Martin joined District 95 as a Mental Health Specialist in 2022. Amanda has worked in the social work field for several years working with children and families and the elderly populations. Amanda was born and raised in Paris and is excited to be back working in her home district. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing sports, and coaching basketball and softball in the community.

Jenna Gates- Mental Health Specialist
Mayo Middle School
Jenna Gates is currently enrolled at Indiana State University to fulfill her bachelors degree in Psychology. She is employed as a mental health aid at Mayo Middle School working closely with the current guidance counselor, Abby Bush. Outside of work and school, Jenna enjoys spending time with her dog named Baxter, listening to music, and working out.

Gracie Rhoads- Mental Health Specialist
Paris High School
Gracie Rhoads first year as a mental health professional. Previously, she worked as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) for Mosaic in Terre Haute Indiana. Throughout this experience she gained a lot of knowledge working with families and adults. Gracie is currently in her Clinical Mental Health master's program at Indiana State University. Gracie enjoys spending time with her family and exercising in her free time.

Dan Gates- Part-Time Counselor
Mayo Middle School
Dan Gates has nearly 30 years experience as a School Guidance Counselor working with the youth of Paris at Mayo Middle School. Dan retired as a full time counselor in 2022 and is now a part-time Counselor continuing his work with children and families at Mayo and the community of Paris. Dan loves spending time with his family & dog Baxter, and enjoys coaching basketball.

Ryan Hanson, EdS- School Psychologist
Paris-Union District 95
Ryan Hanson is enjoying his 12th year serving Paris schools as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. He previously provided community and school based mental health services in Indiana for two years, and attended college for seven years while training in the educational and mental health fields. Ryan enjoys encouraging others, becoming a better leader, and connecting with students.
